Found in IC 5374 at R.A. = 00h01m03s.94, Decl. = +04°30'05".4 Located 8".7 west and 4".7 north of the center of IC 5374 (Discovery image) (Odd Trondal animation) Mag 19.4*, Type Mira NOTE: This has now been confirmed to be not a supernova, but a Mira variable star in our galaxy.
