Supernova 2000cz in IC 1535

sn00cz_i.jpg Discovered by Amateur Mark Armstrong (UK). The host galaxy for this supernova is in a small cluster of galaxies know as WBL 005, aka the NGC 51 group. It is a fairly faint type II, and was found after maximum brightness. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal. Icon created from Mark Armstrong's image.
