Supernova 2001ci in NGC 3079

sn01ci_i.gif Yet another LOTOSS discovery. This supernova spent alot of time as the "Possible in NGC 3079". It was thought to be a dim type II of the Eta Carini type, but it came out as a very dim type Ic. We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.
