sn01gb_i.gif Discovered by Mike Schwartz, the amature portion of LOTOSS. This is a distant type Ia. IC 583 has has a very nearby companion galaxy, IC 583 (= UGC 5363). We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal. Icon created from Mike Schwartz's discovery image.
