Supernova 2005bc in NGC 5698

Two independant discoveries for this one, one by amateures Tim Puckett and L. Cox and the other by the professionals at Lick Observatory Supernova Search.   This is a young type Ia.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Bootes.
