Supernova 2005W in NGC 691

sn05w_i.gif Discovered by Yoji Hirose (Japan). A bright type Ia found on the rise.   Note that there is a star very close to the position of the SN.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.  Icon generated from the LOSS image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Aries.
