This one turned out to be the brightest northern hemisphere visible supernova
of the year 2007.
It was found in the Antenna galaxy which is an interacting par of galaxies.
This supernova was found in the southern "antenna", as opposed to
2004gt which was found it the
northern section of main body of this complex.
This one is a type Ia found before maximum light.
We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.
