Supernova 2008ha in UGC 12682

image Discovered by Tim Puckett, Caroline Moore, and Jack Newton (USA).   This is a pecular type Ia supernova.   There is an international collaboration studying this one. Caroline Moore it turns out, is a 14 year old girl who found this one.   Recently (6/2009) there was some media coverage on this one.   We have a DSS Photometry reference image made by Odd Trondal.   Icon generated from the discovery image.   This supernova is in the Constellation Pegasus.
