image Discovered by Catalina Real-Time Transient Survey and Stan Howerton (USA).   This one is a Type Ia (was Ic) (z=0.024537).   The host galaxy, MCG +5-22-20 sits between (and possibly within) NGC 2783 and NGC 2783B This supernova is in the Constellation Cancer.
